Request for Information
You, as the owner of your private data, have the right of Information which data is stored, to correct, block or delete your data on your own will free of charge. Please contact mtc-info@web.de or send your request by Mail to or Business Address.
Transfers to Third Parties
Of course, we need to pass your ordering information (Name and Address) to our shipment partner to process your orders, but this is the only case on which your Name and Address is passed to Third Parties.
Security
We are committed to protect your privacy as well as providing a secure shopping environment for our valued Customers. The personal information you supply to process your order is protected by a 128 bit SSL v3, RSA with 1024 Bit encrypted data transfer, for which we supply an encryption- Certificate to your Browser. By using this latest in secure transaction technologies and practicing a strict privacy policy, we strive to protect your personal information.
Cookies
Cookies are small text files sent to your computer when you visit certain web pages. They are stored on your computer's hard drive and keep track of various data such as what you have in your shopping cart and the zip code you have entered. Within our Shop we use Cookies to store Information to make the shopping experience more enjoyable, by means allowing you to select formal data when filling forms.
Although our cookies cannot harm your computer and do not contain any personal or private information we understand certain users have a mistrust of them. Therefore, we recently made changes to the way our site uses them. It is no longer necessary to enable permanent cookies (if your browser allows you this level of detail), and you might allow session cookies. You can also block Cookies completely in your Browser, but you will loose the benefits of pre- setted Information when filling our forms.
How to enable session cookies:
(If you do not know your browser version, click on help in your browser menu and then click the About... option)
Microsoft Internet Explorer 6.0 and 7.0
Select Tools -> Internet Options and click on the "Privacy" tab.
In Settings, click on "Advanced".
To edit the default settings (which do allow permanent cookies) check the box that reads "Override Automatic Cookie Handling". This will allow you to set First & Third Party cookie handling. (For mtc-info.de you may set any option you want to here, including Blocking Cookies.)
You must check the box that reads, "Always allow session cookies".
Microsoft Internet Explorer 5.0
Select Tools -> Internet Options and click on the "Security" tab.
The default selection, "Medium," supports cookies, but you can click on the "Custom Level" button to check. Scroll down until you see the word "Cookies" and verify that the radio button next to "Enable" is selected in both options.
Mozilla Firefox 1.8
Select Tools -> Options and click on "Privacy" in the list on the left.
Select the "Cookies" tab which will expand the view for Cookies
Beneath "Allow sites to set cookies" also check the box "for the originating website only"
You may also change the default setting for Keep Cookies from "until they expire" -> "until I close Firefox".

Select Tools -> Options
In "Options" dialogue box, go to Security and Privacy (right column) and click on the Privacy link. Select Cookies '+' which will expand the view for Cookies

Select Edit -> Preferences -> Click Privacy & Security -> Cookies
You must select one of the 3 "Enable Cookies" options (Enable All, Enable for originating web site or Enable based on privacy settings)
You may then check the box that reads, "Limit maximum lifetime of cookies to: Current Session"
Netscape 6.0
Select Edit -> Preferences -> Click Privacy & Security -> Cookies
You may select "Enable Cookies for the originating web site only"
Opera 9.2
Select Tools -> Preferences -> and click on the Advanced tab.
Click Cookies in the left column
Select radio button "Accept only cookies from the site I visit"
You may also check the box underneath that says "Delete new cookies when exiting Opera"
Click OK
Addtionally, this version of Opera allows you to set different settings for different sites. If you want to set a custom setting for mtc-info that will not override settings that you currently have for other sites:
Under header "Cookie settings can be adapted to each site" -> Manage Cookies
Click on "Add..." button -> General tab. In the "Site" filed, type "http://www.mtc-info.de". Click on Cookies tab
Select radio button "Accept only cookies from the site I visit"
You may also check the box underneath that says "Delete new cookies when exiting Opera"

Opera 8.01
Select Tools -> Preferences -> and click on the "Advanced" tab.
Click Cookies in the left column
Under Normal cookies set, "Let me decide each time I receive one"
Under Third Party cookies set, "Accept only cookies set to the server itself".
Click OK
Safari 2.0
Choose Preferences from the Safari menu -> Security. Select Never if you don't want to store any cookies on your computer. This may prevent you from using some websites.
Click Always to accept and remember all cookies
Click "Only from sites you navigate to" to prevent storing cookies that come from websites other than those you open.
To see the cookies you have accepted, click Show Cookies. You can then remove cookies.
